RV College of Engineering Bangalore is a self-financing engineering college managed by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust. RVCE is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and accredited by the NBA. The college is approved by AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. Located 13 km from the heart of Bangalore (also known as the Silicon Valley of India) on Mysore Road. RVCE has ranked 99 in the Engineering category of NIRF Rankings 2024.

Established in 1963, RVCE Bangalore is a private college. RVCE has 15 departments that collectively offer more than 35 courses at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. All these courses are AICTE-approved and are offered across two fields, including Engineering & Technology and Science. Popular courses at RVCE Bangalore include BE/ BTech, MTech, and MCA. RVCE Bangalore admissions are based on merit in COMEDK UGET, JEE Mains, and others for admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The COMEDK UGET last closing rank during the RVCE Bangalore Cut off 2023, ranged between 310 and 18500 for the BTech programmes.
